Nights where you can just have fun, scream, yell, cheer, laugh, and joke are one of the few things that remind me to get through the touch patches in life; that I’ve got no where to go but forward. County auditions, although was not as successful as I wished it could have been, I had a really good time bonding with my UMUSIC family and fellow percussionists from other parts of this county. It’s always a joy working with such great musicians, learning their ways, and observing their techniques!
I love my early morning and nightly jogs, they keep me up and running. When I breathe in that fresh cool air, it’s a refresher. I love staring up into the sky and seeing stars, the moon, or the rising sun. We all spend so much time indoors during these late&early hours, we always forget to enjoy them. I came back from auditions with a pounding headache and decided to go out for a jog to school for our 1st ever Cannonball competition!
Night of crazy cheering and screaming, enough that my throat is in an unbelievable amount of soreness. But worth it? Yup! I bet and rooted on the right team since the beginning, I had 500% faith in the HUMANBEINGS! Congrats you guys, REALLY PROUD OF YA’LL! You guys played amazingly well! Afterwards I took my jog home, I haven’t ran in days. On the way home I decided to take pictures of the night: nothing better than a random late night stroll around the neighborhood taking pictures.
