From December 23rd to the 26th I spent the days at Donner Lake near Lake Tahoe with the Lin family, Wu family, Wang family, and Pang family. If I had to sum up what we did in the short 3 days I would have to write a book! We did a total of 3 super amazing things on this trip. They were all once in a life time occasions, and we did it in a span of three days.
#1 We walked, ran, and danced over a frozen lake. At one point it made a loud rumbling noise signaling that the lake was about to crack; we were so scared we ran for shore as quickly as possible.
#2 We slid down a ice slide. Yes, yes we did on our butts.
#3 We ate 125 plates of sushi for lunch. Have you seen a percussionist eat?
I couldn’t ask for a better spent holiday season with my percussion family & my own family!
