I was planning on falling asleep a hour ago, but I ended up waking up not so long ago. Thinking about it, playing in band is probably the biggest hastle for a percussionist ever. Moving bajillion instruments and simply being able to play every instrument. But no regrets, sometimes the greatest things in life requires a whole load of effort! The thing that differs a percussion section from other sections are that we all always tend to be the closest bunch. We have to talk to each other, we stand for hours by each other’s sides, and we help each other move&carry instruments. High School band, Mrs. Tippetts, and the amazing percussions we have every year has seriously made me fall in love with music so much more.
I’m pretty darn blessed with my crazy, hyper, chattery, hilarious, joyous, and beautiful bunch of percussionsts I play with everyday. I LOOOOVE DEM<3
