Today I met a pregnant woman on the elevator at Regional Hospital while I was making my way to go to the doctors for my damaged throat. In our short elevator ride she explained to me that she had been pregnant for 2 months and she was absolutely cheerful about it. I congratulated her, and so did another mother-aged woman whom was in the elevator with us during the time. The other woman asked her if she was excited and the pregnant woman responded, “Yes, I’m really really excited to have my baby. But yet at the same time I’m scared for that last month.” The mother-aged women smiled, nodded and agreed that that’s exactly how she felt but it was all worth it in the end.
This has ought to be one of my favorite parts of life: meeting random people in the most random places, for absolutely no reason at all. Kind of goes to show how diverse this world really is and how much more we have got to experience in life.
